The only thing more backwards than Ed's agenda is how he plans to get it passed.

“Nonpartisan” highlights Ed Gillespie’s latest refusal to commit to nonpartisan redistricting reform.

In his previous work as a political consultant, Ed Gillespie led a nationwide effort to rig redistricting maps in favor of Republicans, including in Virginia. Despite bipartisan support, he continues to oppose nonpartisan redistricting reform.

One can only assume he will continue to sign off on hyper-partisan maps that lead to more gridlock and obstruction and less bipartisan cooperation. Because why allow Virginians to choose their representatives, instead of the other way around, when you can keep the “politics, in politics.”
